Healthy Clean Eating Low Fat Salad Recipes

Never underestimate how satisfying a salad can be.  Generally, (at least in the UK), salad ingredients can add up and become quite costly all together.  However, with my next salad recipe ideas, be ready to be wowed by the flavours in harmony together, and note that you will not be left hungry, unlike with many other salad recipe ideas.

Check out this delish protein salad:-

Ingredients: New potatoes, roast chicken breast, lettuce, marinated herring with dill, 3 boiled eggs, smoked salmon with dill, sweet pickled onions, parsley, mushrooms, 1x lemon, 1 tomato, 1 red onion, cucumber, mint leaves, chia seeds, 1 avocado, gherkins, olives, pistachios, dried apricots, almonds, dried canberries.

Apple Salad recipe:-

With a salad, check out this beautiful and fresh mint sauce recipe. It's also fabulous drizzled over cooked lamb.  Really refreshing:-

Half a cup (150ml) of extra virgin olive oil, 1tbsp organic apple cider vinegar, juice of 1 lemon plus zest, 1 clove of garlic, small slice of ginger, 1 tbsp of honey, a handful of fresh parsley, 2 handfuls of fresh mint leaves, dash of sea salt and pepper. Blend for 2-3 minutes
